Foundations of Coaching 1 - Acquire a thorough understanding of the philosophical, historical, and ethical foundations of coaching. Explore similarities and differences between coaching and related disciplines, and consider the scope of coaching’s potential. Learn and practice basic coaching skills in real-time conversations, and experience the effect of these skills as a coachee. (The cost for this course is $995)
Course dates are Wednesday 9/24, Thursday 9/25, and Wednesday 9/28, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Foundations of Coaching 2 - Building on Foundations of Coaching I, this explores various coaching skills, operating assumptions and practices. Students experiment with the language of coaching, distinguishing the effects of coaching techniques. They use a defined process to structure a coaching session, and learn the benefits of the structure as well as the vulnerabilities of a poorly structured session. They use a defined methodology to establish credibility and build trust with the coachee. Students complete the course having effectively coached and having been coached. (The cost for this course is $995)
Course dates are Monday 10/3 and Wednesday 10/5, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Authentic Marketing - This course is an experiential primer for coaches who want to market themselves authentically, but are unclear where to begin. It includes exercises to break down mental blocks around marketing, and provides training in the basics of strategic marketing appropriate for coaches. Each student designs a tailored, strategic marketing plan that identifies the three best ways for their ideal clients to find them. Students leave with an action plan for success and newfound confidence in their ability to compellingly communicate their value. (The cost for this course is $895)
Summer Session Dates: Course dates are Tuesday 8/2, Wednesday 8/3, and Thursday 8/4, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Fall Session Dates: Course dates are Fridays, 11/4, 11/11, and 12/2, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
